I am a singer songwriter mainly into rock and alternative music.
I started playing the guitar over 40 years ago now when I was 11 years old. I also started to learn the trumpet at the same time. My mother had started teaching me the basics of piano as well a few years earlier so a depp interest and possible addiction in all things musical had started.
I have been in many bands over the years. My first band ‘Ulraviolet’ was started between a few friends at school and we used to play at school assemblies and in the village hall.
My current band is ‘Blue Dragon Illusion’, there will be a seperate web site for that.
I am also currently collaborating with a few friends on some exciting musical projects. One of these is ‘StoneRain’ with an old friend, Steve Cowan from Licoln who was in a band called ‘Havoc’ with me in the 1990’s. More on this in the Collaboration area of the site. My other current collaboration project is with a friend I met through Bad Pollyanna’s fan group ‘The Black Unicorns’, Bex Hopley. We perform under the name ‘The Peony Blacks’
I have also been working on a lot of solo ideas during lockdown. I hope to release some of these soon. For now some demos are available on Soundcloud, links in the media section.
